School Transport Driver transporting children to/from School, with the option of additional hours Coach Driving during busier times.

We are a small family run company proud of our reputation for reliability, quality of service and professionalism.  We regularly require reliable, smart, polite coach drivers to join our team to assist with our school contracts.  Ideally, the flexibility to assist with swimming contracts and local private hires as and when required would be beneficial.

 

Requirements

• Full catagory D licence required.
• Valid DQC (Driver Qualification Card/’CPC card’).
• A digital tachograph card will be required though not required at the interview stage.
• Minimum of 2 year's experience of driving a coach.
• Reliable and able to provide a high standard of professionalism and customer service at all times.
• Successfully completed detailed DBS criminal records check (as this is a regulated activity that requires an enhanced DBS).

If your training has lapsed we may be able to assist you with this.

 

Duties

Whilst the main duties would be as a School Transport Driver transporting children to/from School, there is the opportunity for more hours coach driving for swimming contracts, local private hires, School Trips and Private hire day trips during busier times.  You will also be expected to join in with the team in keeping vehicles clean and ready for the next customer.

 

Conditions

Offers of employment are subject to:

• Driving Licence checks
• Up to date CPC
• Satisfactory reference/s
• Enhanced DBS check
• 6 month probationary period.
